The Andy Warhol Museum

The Carnegie Museum of Natural History

The Carnegie Museum of Natural History is committed to deepening wonder and advancing our understanding of the natural world, past and present. Its core exhibit, Dinosaurs in Their Time, is home to dozens of original fossils in scientifically accurate reconstructions of their ancient habitats.

 

The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh

The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh provides an innovative and inclusive experience that inspires kindness, joy, creativity and curiosity for all learners. With a wide range of hands-on exhibits, you can spend a couple of hours or the entire day exploring.

 

The Frick Pittsburgh

The Frick Pittsburgh houses outstanding examples of early-Renaissance pantings and 18th-century French painting, furniture, and decorative arts.

 

Heinz History Center

Heinz History Center houses six floors of interactive exhibitions featuring iconic artifacts like the set from "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" and the world's oldest Jeep. The Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum is located on the second and third floors.

 

The Mattress Factory

The Mattress Factory is an experience that pushes the boundaries of both the artist and viewer. The museum supports established and emerging artists through a residency program that provides opportunities to create artwork that is unconventional, challenging and thought-provoking.

 

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens features show-stopping art crafted from flowers. A green oasis in the middle of Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood, Phipps has provided a world-class garden experience to its visitors since 1893.

  • Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens: Catch the 61A, 61B, 61C, or 61D at 6th Ave. & Smithfield St. and ride to Forbes Ave. & Bellefield St. Walk 8 minutes to destination.
  • The Frick Pittsburgh: Catch the 71C at 6th Ave. & Smithfield St. and ride to Penn Ave. & Homewood. Walk 5 minutes to destination. 
  • The Carnegie Museum of Art: Catch the 61A, 61B, 61C, or 61D at 6th Ave. & Smithfield St. and ride to Forbes Ave. & Craig St.
  • Heinz History Center: Walk 6 minutes to destination. 
  • Andy Warhol Museum: Walk 13 minutes to destination.
  • The Mattress Factory: Catch the 15 bus at Penn Station Stop C and ride to Brighton Rd. & Taylor Ave. Walk 3 minutes to destination. 
  • Children’s Museum: Catch the 13 or 16 bus at 7th St. & Penn Ave. and ride to North Commons & Federal St. Walk 5 minutes to destination.
