North Shore Infrastructure Walking Tour

Learn how Pittsburgh’s North Shore has changed, developed, and grown over the last twenty years.

Departing from Wood Street Station, tour attendees will take the T to Pittsburgh's North Shore to explore the redeveloped mixed-use area that has changed the city's culture, traffic patterns, and economy over the last 20 years.

Home to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and multiple cultural and entertainment venues, the North Shore tells us a lot about Pittsburgh's past, present, and future. On this tour, we'll take a look at how this area has developed over the last two decades, what Pittsburghers currently enjoy on the North Shore, and what is planned for development in the next few years.

Each tour time of Pittsburgh's North Shore walking tour can accommodate 20 guests. Tours last two hours and participants will walk roughly 1.7 miles outdoors. Please come prepared for the weather. Tour times are listed below.
